What is W4WA?
W4WA is a non-federal political organization under Section 527 of the Internal Revenue Code. W4WA operates at the national, and state and local levels. Its main purpose at the federal level is public policy and issue advocacy relating to issues of importance to working men and women.

What issues does WFWA focus on?
W4WA focuses on issues important to working Americans, including fair trade,
healthcare, job offshoring, and unsafe products made in China.

Does W4WA support Republicans or Democrats?
W4WA is nonpartisan. It supports policy positions and solutions for improving the economic conditions for working Americans.

Who is W4WA?
W4WA is supported by the members of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters.

Do free trade agreements really lead to American job losses?
The Economic Policy Institute calculates that NAFTA has displaced one million U.S. workers since it took effect in 1994. Examining the occupations identified by Princeton economics professor Alan Blinder as “potentially offshorable,” EPI has found that between 18% and 22% of today's jobs — about 25 to 30 million — could potentially be offshored.

What is W4WA’s position on new free trade agreements?
W4WA is opposed to the Peru Free Trade Agreement that Congress approved. It is opposed to any future trade agreements including a Colombian Free Trade Agreement.
